Every year, for the past three years this local regatta seems to torment sailors of all teams with light, fluky winds and the Delaware River’s abundance of current. Saturday there were questions as to whether this would be a regatta at all, at a minimum 3 races per division are need to declare an event official and it didn't look encouraging to get this off. Boats went out, came back in and tied up, went back out, got stuck in the river’s muddy bottom Sunday’s winds were light, but usually enough to maneuver on and so races were completed as fast as possible, keeping the course short and close to the docks of Corinthian Yacht Club. After nine races were sailed in each division, Villanova placed 2nd overall, behind U. Penn, the host.
