Saturday dawned with mostly sunny skies and fair winds of about 10 knots to greet MAISA’s Central area sailors, a reprieve from the rainy forecast.  Sailing was tough though with the strong breeze and frigid water a constant concern. After warming up and surviving a capsize or two Villanova settled into stride and finished the first day in 4th place, just ahead of Ocean County for a Qualifying spot.
