The winds stayed up all night and built to a bit more Sunday, well into the 20s turning much of the day into a heavy air fest for CFJs. Many boats were shipping water from fighting through the short steep chop, and more then a couple teams wound up swimming as the day wore on (us included). After a near miss injury in the afternoon we pulled out of the remaining races. Not to worry though, we’ll be back this way again...
Congratulations to Georgetown, HWS, KP, and SUNY Maritime, represent MAISA well at Nationals.
